With the support of his wife Kim, he founded interactive marketing agency Terralever in 2002 out of his home at an interesting time—during the infamous dot-com implosion. The additional challenges of the dot-com crash didn’t slow Chris down and today the growing agency provides online marketing solutions for growing mid-size to Fortune 500 companies. Chris has almost two decades of experience providing digital marketing guidance to companies large and small. Most recently, he’s provided strategic online marketing guidance to global brands such as Red Bull, Cisco, Adobe, Apple, BMW, University of Phoenix and Microsoft. Kim Johnson Co-Owner and Controller ![]() Kim started Terralever with Chris in 2002. With over 10 years of experience in financial management, Kim holds the reigns in all financial decisions for Terralever. She has worked in finance for many companies including Integrated Information Systems, Mobility Electronics and Allied Signal. She is an Arizona State University graduate with a BS degree in Accounting. In her free time Kim enjoys hanging out with her two kids, reading books by Diana Gabaldon and Sharon Kay Penman, and scrapbooking. Random fact about Kim: If she wasn’t an accountant, Kim would probably be a landscaper—she loves to plant, trim and even pull weeds. Scott Miraglia COO & CFO ![]() As COO/CFO Scott manages the strategic and tactical operations of the Company. Scott McAndrew Director of Strategy ![]() As Director of Strategy and Creative, Scott’s years of experience working with top brands across industries is very apparent—he’s super-passionate about digital marketing and his incredible depth of knowledge proves it. Scott’s 20-year career encompasses the fundamentals of design, marketing and technology. He and his team oversee all upfront strategy and ongoing online marketing for clients delivering killer results through both time-tested and innovative solutions. Christine Alm Director of Operations ![]() In her role as Director of Operations, Christine Alm oversees traffic management and internal processes to ensure client needs are met. A challenging task to say the least, Christine is constantly managing, rearranging and updating resource hours to see that all client projects are done on time, and on budget. Before Terralever, Christine spent six years with the international expertise brokerage firm Gerson Lehrman Group. Christine is a team player with a positive attitude—she’s patient, hardworking and keeps the entire Account Services team grounded even at our most hectic moments. In her spare time Christine likes to hang out with her husband, travel, play tennis, catch up with friends and improve her golf game. A random fact about Christine: She was in a Cheerio’s commercial. Rob Paveza Technical Director ![]() As a software engineer and technical lead, Rob’s primary responsibilities include high-level systems architecture and design, quality management, and software construction. He has over 11 years of experience with web-based development work, as well as a breadth of experience particularly with the Facebook Platform, having developed an open-source control library for ASP.NET developers to interact with Facebook. When hanging out on the web Rob spends a lot of time on Codinghorror.com, joelonsoftware.com, stackoverflow.com, thedailywtf.com and xkcd.com. In his spare time, Rob likes to hike, read, play volleyball, participate with his church group, referee ice hockey, camp, ride his quad and play music. Jeff Cross Technical Director ![]() Jeff Cross provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for clients, from definition phase through implementation. He has 20 years combined experience in development and online marketing strategy. Most recently he served as Partner at Middlefloor Media, an online media company. His client work spans across many industries including: ecommerce retail clients, Web app developers, small manufacturers, international consulting and professional services companies, real estate companies, as well as local service, retail and food service companies. When reading blogs Jeff spends most of his time on Seth Godin’s blog, The official Google Blog and on Scott McAndrew’s Blog. He also spends a lot of time on Woot.com and Failblog.org. In his spare time Jeff is programming a brain and web interface for his robot using Python and Actionscript 3 – He also enjoys hanging out with his wife and three cats. Jen Walsh User Experience Architect ![]() Jen has been with Terralever since its inception and over that time has been responsible for many aspects of the project lifecycle. With more than a decade of interactive experience, Jen has provided expertise in user experience design, account management, project management and front-end development to a client list that includes companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Hat Club and Red Bull. In her free time Jen enjoys photography, keeping her family blog up to date and entertaining her hubby Vince and munchkin Evin. Heather Herr Social Media Specialist ![]() Heather lives social, from making connections and building real relationships in online social networks to attending and planning community, industry and conference events. Her experience in brand experience strategy, trend research and teaching brings a customer-centric focus to each project. Past and current clients include community development, hospitality, emerging tech and startups, arts organizations, and non-profits. As Terralever’s in-house Social Media Specialist, Heather works with clients daily to leverage their social media presence across several platforms on strategic and tactical levels. She brings passion and energy to her role and she does it with a smile on her face every step of the way. Random fact about Heather: She used to be a puppeteer and she often eats donuts for lunch. Courtney Crane Marketing Manager Courtney Crane has been with Terralever since January 2008. Since her start at Terralever she has worn a variety of hats, gaining expertise in all things Terralever as well as the interactive marketing industry as a whole. Due to her enthusiasm for the company, Courtney naturally fell into the role of Marketing Manager - around the office she is more commonly known as “the voice of Terralever.” Courtney manages the Terralever brand, initiating and overseeing efforts towards elevating corporate visibility, generating content to boost industry thought leadership and differentiating Terralever from its competition. In addition, she enjoys building company culture and bringing fun back to the work place. In her glory days Courtney was a Division 1 soccer star for the Arizona State University Sun Devils and in her spare time she enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding and hanging with family and friends. He was a strong leader, a patient teacher, a caring friend and the perfect mentor.
